This policy explains how Mayvox ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit may-vox.com, contact us about our services, or use the Mayvox AI Receptionist as a customer.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you schedule a free call or contact us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, industry, and information about your business needs.

Service data for customers. When a business uses the Mayvox AI Receptionist, we process the calls made to that business on its behalf. This can include caller phone numbers, call recordings, transcripts, and details callers share during a call (such as a name, address, or description of the job). This data is processed to deliver the service the business has engaged us for: answering calls, creating summaries, and sending notifications.

Website usage. Our website collects standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working properly.

How we use information

We use contact information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct demos, and communicate about our services. We use service data solely to operate the Mayvox AI Receptionist for the business it belongs to — answering calls, generating summaries and transcripts, and delivering SMS and email notifications that the business has configured.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share call data with third parties except the service providers necessary to operate the product (for example, telephony and messaging providers), and only for that purpose. We do not use one customer's call data to serve another customer.

Security and retention

Call data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain service data for as long as the customer's account requires it; customers can export or request deletion of their call records. Demo inquiry details are retained only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and our business records obligations.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you have received communications from us and prefer not to, tell us and we will stop.

Callers to Mayvox-answered businesses

If you called a business whose phone is answered by Mayvox, that business is responsible for the call data as our customer. Direct requests about your information to that business; we will support them in fulfilling it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
