Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of the may-vox.com website and, where applicable, the Mayvox AI Receptionist service ("the Service"). By using the website or the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Mayvox provides an AI receptionist that answers business phone calls, collects caller information, generates summaries and transcripts, and sends notifications on behalf of subscribing businesses. Specific features, configuration, and pricing are agreed with each customer at signup.

Accounts and acceptable use

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the business information they provide (such as hours, service areas, and call-handling instructions) and for keeping account access secure. The Service may not be used for unlawful purposes, to deceive callers about the identity of the business being reached, or to record or process calls in violation of applicable law.

Call recording and compliance

Call recording and transcription rules vary by region. Customers are responsible for ensuring their use of recording, transcription, and SMS features complies with the laws that apply to their business and their callers, including any required disclosures or consent.

Fees and cancellation

The Service is billed as a monthly subscription starting at $249/month, as agreed at signup. There are no long-term contracts; customers may cancel for the following billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but telephone networks, carriers, and third-party providers are outside our control, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is a call-handling tool and is not a substitute for emergency services; callers with emergencies should be directed to the appropriate emergency number.

Intellectual property

The website, the Service, and their content are owned by Mayvox. Customers retain ownership of their business information and their call data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayvox is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, arising from use of the website or the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and existing customers will be notified.
